Ever wondered what Jack and Sally’s spooky love celebration would look like in real life? Well, today’sHalloween ready wedding inspois all about it! Photographer Vanessa ofVDuK Photographyfrom Long Beach, CA, conceptualized this Halloween-inspired love celebration with help from planner and coordinatorYamileth Cabrera. Their sweet and spooky wedding shoot in black, purple and white, is filled with tons of cute details and fun nods to Nightmare Before Christmas couple, Jack and Sally.
“Halloween is my favorite holiday,” explains Vanessa. “We know October is the new June for weddings and a lot of couples are into unique ideas for their weddings. Because Jack and Sally are iconic, and we all relate them with Halloween and Christmas, we couldn’t have a Halloween wedding without these two!”
Spooky-Cute Halloween Wedding
Yamileth Cabrera created the bride’s jacket, and the light-up jars of frogs breath and worms wort, as well as the easel board with decal. The small white jack-inspired Halloween pumpkins that acted as spooky wedding table decor, and the invites were created by Vanessa. Such a talented and creative team!
The dramatic, black wedding dress was designed byYamileth from Handmade By Yamileth, who, along with her husband Orlando (dressed byFriar Tux)were the models for this Halloween Wedding. The event was set at Reptacular Ranch, a secluded Sylmar venue,
Michelle from Mikala Artistrystyled sweet and spooky hair and makeup, using dark colors with a romantic flair. Florist, Vanessa ofDaydream Studio LA(love the name, by the way), created table blooms and a floral arch using shades of deep purples and pinks to create a moody, magical setting.
Ernesto from Liquid Courage created a selection of spooky drinks – a Black Widow Martini and Smokey Cocktails. Dee fromSweet Deetailscreated the black wedding cake with white detailing – a wonderful mix of spookiness and elegance. Table and chairs were provided by Carlos fromRustic Yard Eventsand the plates, glasses and silverware byJC Party Rentals.
